You look outside, and see this.....
rain overtaking the streets. i kept the christmas lights on all day today. i just felt like it, honey.
You hang up the Christmas and Holiday cards that start coming in.....
this year i have to hang the diamond in a horizontal-fashion, since i have a little destroyer who can reach it otherwise.
You light candles that smell like Christmas.....
You run to the store to get cranberries to finish last-minute decorating....
seriously, Michelle, this idea was fab! thanks!
You stare at your bare Christmas tree and wonder how many years it will be before your kids' favorite ornaments will overcome the branches like the one you grew up with.....
You play on the indoor slide your parents managed to get you for your birthday.....
You put your shoe in a Christmas cookie tin and stir it with the meat separator....
You sit on the couch and look at the most beautiful Fontanini Nativity set and wonder when you will one day be able to plug it in so it glows (and not have a little person pull the cord off the mantle - the cord is staying tucked away this year).....
You wonder when someday the kids will run to see if Baby Jesus made it to the manger on Christmas morning.....
i follow tradition like my mom and don't put Baby Jesus in the manger until Christmas morning. bianca now says, "Babe Jes" ~ it's adorable.
You recline on your Sesame Street couch provided to you in part by Auntie Bug & Uncle Doug.....
ridiculous. i'm not saying more here.
You eat a wonderful, hearty dinner of veggie soup, grilled cheese, and sweet potato fries and then stare out at the lights your daddy put up for you.....
she loves to look at the lights at night. thanks, daddy derek.
I apologize these pics are a bit blurry. My camera skills are not too great with indoor shots and minimal light. You get the idea here.
We loved today. And tomorrow....
We Welcome December 2010

That was the neatest post! Thanks for sharing a day in the life of your girlies :) I might take rain and 50 over highs of 30 and wind though :)
I love your pictures...always wish I lived around the corner or at least within easy driving distance when I read your blog and look at your home pictures....Love, Auntie Abbey
