As I blogged about earlier, Derek and I left Bianca for the first time this last weekend. It was so hard to know we would be out of the state - a plane ride away - for 2 nights. There's something to be said about being able to leave your baby at home and travel..... without having to worry about who is taking care of her.
Derek and I are so lucky to have such great parents on both sides. This time, his parents volunteered to fly to Atlanta for the weekend so we could attend my best friend's wedding. How sweet. Thoughtful. Unselfish. Caring. We are once again - so blessed. So blessed that they are able to take a weekend off and fly to visit as well as thoughtful enough to visit. They are very busy people.
Last weekend they got their fill. Bianca ran them tired. She is such a busy little girl. Between painting, installing gates, keeping B entertained, watering flowers, getting stung by a wasp (hope your arm is better, grampy), and keeping cool..... they did it all. They were amazing. Thank you, nana & grampy. We don't know what we would do without you. We love you and hope we do as good of a job raising our babies as you did yours.
